Learn How to Use Data-Driven Initiatives to Achieve

Life-Saving Results!

Best Friends Animal Society has collected extensive data to evaluate the state of animal sheltering across the United States. Best Friend's Pacific Regional Director José Ocaño and Pacific Region Specialist Taylor Sharp will share their insights on current sheltering trends, the most at-risk populations, and next steps to increase animal lifesaving, with a special emphasis on California and the Inland Empire region. In addition, representatives from the Riverside County Department of Animal Services will discuss their collaboration with Best Friends Animal Society and how they are taking proactive steps to save more lives.

Please join Best Friends, it's Network Partners, rescues and shelters in San Bernardino and Riverside Counties, and POPCO at this important meeting to learn, support, uplift, and work together to target and solve the challenges we face in saving lives, reaching an initial 90% live outcome goal, and maintaining that 90% benchmark leading up to 2025 and beyond.
