It Truly Makes a Difference for Shelter Pets

A pregnant Charlotte, one of our FURst Aid mascots, was at risk at another shelter that didn’t have room for her and her eight puppies. We transferred her, and a foster family took her in. After four weeks of nursing her puppies, she developed a prolapsed rectum and needed immediate treatment and medicine. Luckily, she recovered and was able to go back to nursing her puppies a few days later, so they had the nutrition they needed to thrive.

Thanks to FURst Aid funds, we were able to give Charlotte the medical care she needed, when she needed it. Her puppies have been adopted and she's in a foster-to-adopt home.
